Brewer rebuild on a machine used daily but lightly. Daily home use without the volume of a real cafe still gums up the brewer eventually, just slower. I strip the brew group, replace the seals and piston as needed, and get the puck ejecting cleanly again.
Boiler descaling on a well or municipal supply. Some Portola Valley properties on the outer roads run their own well, and untreated well water scales a boiler faster than most municipal lines do. I descale the boiler and heating element, flush the valves, and talk through filtration options based on which water source you're actually on.
Dynamic Milk module rebuild. A weekend with guests means a burst of milk drinks all at once instead of a slow drip through the day. I pull the module, clear the lines and air valve, and rebuild it so the foam holds up through that kind of run.
