WMF in Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay (94019) is our Coastside anchor, and we cover the Main Street restaurants downtown along with the harbor-side spots near Pillar Point, plus Montara (94037), Moss Beach (94038), and El Granada (94018) strung up Highway 1. The salt air off the ocean is hard on equipment. It works into housings, switches, and steam wands faster than it does on an inland machine.

We keep a technician based on the Peninsula, in San Mateo County, so the coast is not an afterthought stop tacked onto a San Ramon route. We work WMF independently, no factory dealership behind it, and CSLB #1136642 covers the electrical and plumbed water line.

$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. What we repair on the bench.

Salt air corrosion service. Coastal air corrodes exterior panels, buttons, and screws faster than it does further inland, and a sticking switch or a seized panel screw usually traces back to that. We clean the corrosion, free or replace the affected parts, and treat the housing to slow it down again.
Boiler descale and steam wand service. Harbor restaurant machines running steady espresso and steamed milk build scale in the boiler just like anywhere else, but the salt air adds extra wear on the steam wand fittings. We descale the boiler, service the wand, and check the seals.
Brewer group rebuild. A Main Street cafe or harbor restaurant pulling shots through a weekend rush wears the brew group down until extraction turns weak or slow. We rebuild it with fresh seals so the shot comes back to spec.
