A handful of cafes and offices near the pier and along Palmetto Avenue run WMF machines, and I see corrosion on internal metal parts and connectors here that inland cities just don't have.

Boiler descale and valve check. Pacifica water scales a boiler the same as the rest of the Peninsula, and the damp coastal air doesn't help the machine shed it. I descale the heater circuit and check for scale-related valve sticking while I'm in there.
