WMF in Los Altos

WMF commercial service.

Los Altos packs its commercial coffee into the downtown Village along Main and State streets, plus the tech and venture offices spread through 94022 and 94024. A WMF in a Village cafe or a funded office breakroom takes steady traffic, so the grinder, milk module, and pump all carry real load through the day.

We come in from San Ramon, around 45 minutes via the 680 and 237. We are an independent shop and not WMF authorized. We service the super-automatic and bean-to-cup machines these spots depend on, and we always quote in writing before any work starts.

$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. Repair parts are covered for 6 months; consumables are covered for 90 days.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Milk module rebuild. Office and cafe machines pouring lattes all day clog the Dynamic Milk or Easy module. We clear the lines, replace worn valves, and rebuild it for steady foam.
Grinder burr and calibration. Steady Village volume wears WMF burrs down. We replace the burr set and recalibrate the grind so the dose and pour stay consistent.
Pump and extraction repair. Weak shots on a busy WMF usually mean a failing pump or a worn valve. We test pressure, replace the pump if needed, and bring extraction back to spec.
Descaling and filtration. Peninsula tap water leaves scale in the boiler and heater. We descale the system, flush it, and fit a filter cartridge to cut repeat failures.
