Vallejo's water is hard. It comes from Lake Berryessa and the State Water Project and is treated at the Fleming Hill plant. A WMF runs on a plumbed line and heats water for every cup, so that hardness settles in the heater or boiler, on the valve seats and in the narrow passages between them. The machine slows first: drinks take longer, temperature drops, and sooner or later a valve sticks or a heater quits.

Whether your 1500S+ or 5000S+ sits downtown, in South Vallejo or on Mare Island, we collect it, take it to our bench and open the water side first. You get a written quote listing the scaled parts and what let the scale in, and nothing is replaced before you approve it. If the filter is overdue, we say so.

What we repair on the bench.

Heater or boiler choked with scale. Scale insulates the heating element and narrows the water path, so drinks come out cooler and the element works harder until it fails. We descale or replace the heater, test the temperature sensor, and check that cup temperature is back where it belongs.
Valve stuck open or shut by mineral buildup. A WMF routes water through several solenoid valves. When scale keeps one from closing, the machine drips or overfills; when it keeps one from opening, a drink stops with an error. We find the valve involved, clean or replace it, and cycle every drink type to confirm.
Cartridge timing for Vallejo water and your cup count. A filter on hard water has to match both the hardness and how many cups you pour. An undersized cartridge runs out early and lets scale straight through. We suggest a filter size and change interval from your volume and the scale we found inside.
