A WMF that makes noise but pours nothing, or pours slowly with weak pressure, usually has a pump or valve problem. The pump pushes water through the heater to the brewer, and a set of solenoid valves decides where it goes. When the pump wears or a valve sticks, drinks stall, the machine throws a water error, or the pucks come out wet.

San Pablo sits between the north end of the Berkeley Hills and San Pablo Bay, with San Pablo Avenue running through town and Contra Costa College inside its limits. Water is EBMUD, soft to moderate. We collect the machine, bring it to our bench, and measure pump pressure and flow before we open any valve, then quote the part that failed.

What we repair on the bench.

Pump running but no water reaching the brewer. If the pump runs and nothing comes out, the inlet may be blocked, the filter clogged, the pump worn out, or a valve stuck shut. We check flow at each stage from the water inlet onward and replace the part where it stops.
Loud pump or pressure that falls off. A worn pump gets noisy and loses pressure, and weak pressure means thin drinks and wet pucks. We measure pressure against a gauge, replace the pump if it is worn, and check the inlet line for whatever wore it out.
Water error after a supply shutoff. If the building water was shut off or the inlet valve was closed, air in the lines can leave the machine unable to prime. We bleed the system, check the inlet valve and its screen, and confirm the pump primes on its own.
