San Leandro keeps its coffee close to the Downtown core along East 14th Street in 94577 and out toward the Marina and the Bay-O-Vista side in 94578 and 94579. We service Astoria machines for the cafes, delis, and small roasters along those corridors, the cafe-grade and mid-market gear that has to hold up to a lunch rush.

From San Ramon it is roughly 30 minutes over the 580 grade and down into San Leandro, one of our quicker East Bay runs. Local tap water carries enough hardness that Astoria boilers and group heads scale up, so descaling and water filtration come up on most of our calls here.

Brew and steam solenoid valves. A wand that drips or a group that floods usually means scaled solenoids. We rebuild or replace the brew and steam valves on Storm and Tanya machines and flush the lines.
Group gaskets and screens. Counter-service cafes on East 14th cycle the group hard. We swap worn gaskets and dispersion screens so the portafilter locks tight and shots run clean.
Pump and motor. Weak pressure or a groaning pump on Core600 and Plus 4 You machines. We test brew pressure, rebuild or replace the rotary pump, and reset it to spec.
Heating element and level probe. No steam or a boiler that will not hold level is often a scaled element or probe. We descale, replace what is gone, and set up a filter to stretch the next interval.
