Los Gatos centers its coffee trade on Santa Cruz Avenue and North Santa Cruz downtown, 95030 and 95032, with the 95033 hills behind it, cafes and bakeries running Astoria machines through a heavy weekend and tourist flow. A Storm or Core600 here earns its keep on busy Saturdays.

From San Ramon it is about 50 minutes down 680 and 85 to downtown Los Gatos, the farther edge of our Bay Area range.

$150 pickup deposit. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. Repair work is quoted separately. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. Repair parts are covered for 6 months; consumables are covered for 90 days.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Pump and motor. Weekend volume is hard on the pump. Weak brew pressure or a loud motor on a Storm or Core600 traces to the rotary pump, which we set to spec or replace.
Brew and steam solenoids. A dripping group or a steam wand that quits mid-rush means a stuck solenoid. We test the valve and coil and swap the failed Astoria part after you approve the written estimate.
Group gaskets and screens. High weekend throughput wears group gaskets and fouls screens, causing leaks and channeling. We replace both and confirm a clean shot before leaving.
Heating element and level probe. Scale builds on the element and probe and slows recovery during a rush. We descale, recommend a filter, and replace the element or probe when scale has ruined them.
