Richmond's coffee scene runs from the Point Richmond village near 94801 to the cafes and roasting spots clustered along Macdonald Avenue and out toward Marina Bay in 94804. We service Astoria machines for those shops, the kind of cafe and mid-market gear that lives behind a busy counter pulling shots all morning.

From San Ramon it is roughly 40 minutes up I-680 to the 24 and across the bridge, or around the bay depending on traffic. Richmond water is hard, so scale builds in the boiler and group on Astoria machines faster than owners expect. A lot of the calls here are descaling and solenoid work that a good water filter would have slowed down.

What we repair on the bench.

Brew and steam solenoid valves. Scale and grit foul the solenoids first. We clean or replace the brew and steam valves on Plus 4 You and Storm machines so the group fills right and the wand stops dribbling.
Group gaskets and screens. A group that sprays past the portafilter or pulls weak usually needs a fresh gasket and dispersion screen. Common wear part on Astoria, and we carry the sizes.
Heating element and level probe. No heat or a boiler that overfills is often the element or the level probe scaled over. We test both, descale the boiler, and talk water filtration so it does not come back.
Pump and motor. Low or noisy pressure points at the rotary pump and motor. We check pressure, rebuild or swap the pump on Core600 and Tanya machines, and reset the brew pressure.
