Astoria machines out here tend to be Plus 4 You and Hybrid units running in restaurant kitchens rather than standalone coffee bars.

Salt air off the harbor gets into everything on a coastal machine faster than it would inland. Electrical contacts, solenoid coils, and boiler fittings corrode sooner here, so a Coastside machine needs a closer eye on those parts than the same unit would need in San Mateo.

We don't have a shop in Half Moon Bay, but our Peninsula technician makes the drive over Highway 92 regularly, so Coastside accounts aren't an exception to how we run the rest of San Mateo County.

Group gasket and dispersion screen wear. Harbor restaurant kitchens push covers through in the same tight dinner rush every night. Worn gaskets and clogged screens show up as a leaking portafilter or an uneven pour, and we replace both together.
