Mountain View has one of the densest cafe scenes on the Peninsula, from Castro Street downtown, ZIP 94041, through the residential pockets at 94040 and the office and campus zone toward Shoreline at 94043. A lot of those bars and break rooms run Astoria. We service the Plus 4 You, Storm, Core600, Hybrid, and Tanya lines as an independent shop.

From San Ramon it's roughly 45 to 55 minutes via 680 and the Dumbarton. With this many high-volume machines on plumbed lines, scale and water quality drive most of the failures, so we push descaling and proper inline filtration alongside the repair.

Control boards. Castro Street volume machines throw board faults, dead displays, wrong dosing, or no auto-fill. We test the board against sensors and wiring first, since a probe fault often looks like a board failure.
Brew and steam solenoids. Constant cycling on a busy Astoria wears the solenoids. Weak flow, dripping groups, or steam that won't cut off are the usual signs, fixed with stock valves.
Heating element and level probe. Heavy steam demand exposes scaled elements and failing probes fast. We descale the boiler, test the probe, and replace components to restore recovery time.
Group gaskets and screens. High shot counts flatten gaskets and clog screens within months. Portafilter leaks and channeling get resolved with fresh gaskets and dispersion screens.
