What we repair on the bench.

Worn burrs pouring thin shots. Dull burrs crush the beans instead of cutting them, so the grind comes out uneven and the shot runs thin. We check the burr wear, replace the set when it is past its life, and dial the grind back in with test shots.
Dose drifting from one drink to the next. If one drink tastes right and the next is weak, the grinder may be delivering a different weight each time. A clogged chute or worn burrs are common causes. We weigh a run of doses, clear the chute, and recalibrate the grinder until the numbers hold steady.
Hopper and chute blockages. Oily beans can bridge in the hopper or pack the chute, and the grinder runs without delivering anything. We clean the path from hopper to chamber and check the grinder motor under load before the machine goes back.
