Orinda water comes off the EBMUD system and it scales these machines like everywhere else in the East Bay. On a low-volume Cameo or e2 the scale creeps in slower but it still chokes the hydraulics eventually. We handle the descaling, the brew unit, and the electronics on these Swiss units as an independent shop.

What we repair on the bench.
- Descaling on low-volume machines. An Orinda machine that sits between rushes still scales from standing plumbed water. We descale the boilers and hydraulic path and check your filtration setup.
- Brew unit cleaning and reseal. Light-duty does not mean trouble-free. We clean and reseal the brew unit on a Cameo or e2 so it stops leaking past the seals into the tray.
- Flow and temperature sensor faults. When shots run inconsistent, it is often a flow or temp sensor reading wrong. We test, clean, and replace these on Eversys units to get the curve back.
- Pump and pressure repair. Weak pumps and pressure drops show up first on the morning pull. We diagnose the pump and hydraulic side and restore brew pressure to spec.
