What we close on the truck.

Steam wand and fitting corrosion from salt air. Coastal moisture pits and corrodes the steam wand tip, the fittings behind it, and the drip tray hardware faster here than anywhere else on the Peninsula. I clean off what can be saved, replace what's corroded through, and where the location allows it, suggest a cover for the machine overnight.
Drain float switch false errors. The float switch that tells the machine its drip tray is full sticks or corrodes in this humidity, and the machine throws a tray-full alert when the tray is nowhere near it. I clean or replace the switch and check the drain path so the sensor reads correctly again.
Milk system solenoid valve wear. Salt-laden moisture finds its way into the milk circuit's solenoid valves over time, and that shows up as weak steam pressure or milk that won't hit temperature. I strip the milk system, replace the affected valves, and reseal the connections against the coastal air.
