Eversys in Clayton
Eversys commercial service.
Clayton summers are hot and dry, and a super-automatic working in a warm room has less margin for heat. An Eversys holds brew and steam temperature with sensors and, on some models, two boilers. When a sensor drifts or an element weakens, the shots taste flat or sour well before any error appears on the screen.
Clayton is on Contra Costa Water District water, drawn from the Delta. We check what that water has left inside the boilers and sensors when the machine is open on our bench. Pickup covers Dana Hills, Peacock Creek, Clayton Wood, Cardinet Glen and the rest of town. The machine goes to the bench, the quote comes in writing, and the approved repair comes back tested.
$150–450 deposit depending on the model. It covers pickup, bench diagnosis and return, and is not credited toward the repair. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. 6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Brew temperature drifting off target. A temperature sensor that has drifted lets the machine brew a few degrees off without complaint. We check its reading against a probe in the brew path, replace the sensor if it is off, and pull shots until the temperature holds.
- Heating element losing output. An element that has weakened or picked up scale takes longer to recover between drinks, and the steam side sags during a rush. We measure its resistance, check the thermal cutout, and replace the element if either fails the test.
- Airflow around a machine in a warm room. The pumps and electronics packed inside an Eversys need to shed heat. If your machine sits in a closed alcove or next to a hot appliance, we say so on the ticket, because giving it room to breathe can save a board later.

FAQ
Eversys in Clayton questions, answered.
-
The shots taste sour on hot afternoons. Could the machine be the cause?
It can be. A drifting temperature sensor or a weak element lets brew temperature fall below target, and sour shots follow. Room heat adds load on top of that. On the bench we measure brew temperature directly and find which part is off. -
Do you pick up in Clayton, out by Mount Diablo?
Yes. Clayton is inside our pickup area, including Dana Hills, Clayton Wood and Peacock Creek. We collect the machine, diagnose it on our bench, and return it when the approved work is finished. -
Does Contra Costa Water District water call for a filter on the machine?
An inlet filter helps on any plumbed Eversys. How strong a filter and how often to change it depends on what your water leaves behind, so we look at the scale inside the boilers and valves on the bench and size the recommendation to that and to your drink count. -
What does the Eversys pickup deposit cover?
$150–450 deposit depending on the model. It covers pickup, bench diagnosis and return, and is not credited toward the repair. -
How long does Eversys bench repair take?
Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. -
What warranty applies to Eversys coffee-machine repair?
6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
