Eversys in East Palo Alto
Eversys commercial service.
East Palo Alto doesn't run on big corporate campuses the way its neighbors across University Avenue do. It's a working-family city with dense rental housing, and the Eversys machines we see here tend to sit in small family-run cafes, church kitchens, and community centers rather than a tech office break room. We cover 94303.
Those machines often get less scheduled maintenance than a corporate cafe would budget for, since nobody on staff is dedicated to it, so problems show up further along than they would elsewhere. Our shop is in San Ramon, but a technician based on the Peninsula in San Mateo County handles East Palo Alto and the cities around it. We're independent on Eversys, not factory-authorized, and the $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Brew unit buildup from deferred cleaning. When a machine runs without a regular cleaning schedule, coffee oil and grounds build up inside the brew unit past what a rinse cycle clears. We strip it down, clean it properly, and replace the seal kit so the puck ejects clean again.
- Worn grinder burrs. Burrs that should have been swapped months earlier grind unevenly and throw the dose off, so the shot pulls too fast or too slow no matter how the recipe is set. We replace the burrs and reset the calibration to match.
- Sensor faults from age and use. A flow or temperature sensor that's been running past when it should have been checked starts throwing false faults and locking the machine out. We test it against the board and replace the sensor instead of just clearing the code and hoping.

FAQ
Eversys in East Palo Alto questions, answered.
-
Do you charge more to come to East Palo Alto than nearby Palo Alto or Menlo Park?
No. The $99 diagnostic and our rates are the same across the Peninsula cities our technician covers. East Palo Alto isn't priced differently. -
Who actually shows up, someone local or a tech driving in from the East Bay?
We keep a technician based on the Peninsula in San Mateo County, and East Palo Alto is inside that coverage area. That's who takes the call, not someone crossing the bridge each time. -
Is the diagnostic really refunded?
It's credited toward the repair, not refunded after the fact. If you approve the repair, the $99 is credited toward the repair.
