Union City (94587) does not have a dense cafe row the way Sunnyvale does. The coffee work here is the independent shop and the cafe tucked into the Union Landing retail area off the 880, plus the small roasters and bakeries serving the neighborhoods around Alvarado-Niles. Those owners run one Synesso and lean on it hard, so a single down group is a real problem.

From San Ramon it is a short hop, about 25 to 35 minutes over the Dublin grade and down 680 to 880.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Pump and motor replacement. A single-machine shop cannot run on weak pressure. When the rotary pump or motor fails or whines, we replace it and reset pressure so shots pull right.
Control board diagnosis. If displays go dark or a group stops responding, we test the control board before condemning it. Cheaper to confirm the real fault than swap the whole board on a guess.
Descale and filtration setup. East Bay water scales the boilers and group plumbing over time. We descale, flush, and put proper filtration in front of the machine so a one-machine cafe is not down again soon.
Per-group solenoid rebuild. A leaking or sticking group solenoid wastes water and ruins shot timing. We rebuild the valve and reseal the group so it cuts off clean.
