- Autofill probe and water level sensor. Stop-and-go volume around theatre showtimes means the boiler autofill cycles more than a steady-state cafe. A dirty or failed level probe overfills or underfills the boiler, and I clean or replace the probe and check the fill valve together.
- Group head o-ring and shower screen wear. Uneven extraction on a machine that otherwise tests fine often comes down to a worn o-ring or a clogged shower screen, not the boiler at all. I pull the screen, check the o-ring, and clean the dispersion block before assuming it's something bigger.
