We work on these machines as an independent shop, not a Synesso dealer, and that's fine because most of what fails on a commercial espresso machine is electrical, plumbing, or wear, not proprietary firmware.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Per-group PID and boiler stability. A Belmont cafe running one Synesso all morning can't have a group drifting a few degrees off. I test each group's PID loop and thermocouple against the boiler and replace whichever one is lying to the controller.
Steam boiler safety valve and pressure switch. When steam pressure won't hold or the safety valve weeps, I check the pressurestat and the valve seat before touching anything electrical. A weeping valve on a machine that runs six hours a day wastes water and drops pressure right when you need it.
Volumetric doser calibration. Shots running long or short usually trace to the flow meter or the doser board losing count, not the grinder. I recalibrate the meter per group so the pour matches what the display says.
