- PID and per-group temperature. A group reads off temp while the bar otherwise holds steady. On a multi-boiler Synesso that is a single PID or sensor. We isolate the group instead of touching the whole machine.
- Pump and motor service. Brew pressure sags or the pump gets noisy mid-shot. We check the rotary pump and motor, reset pressure to spec, and confirm it holds.
- Descale and water filter. Crusty fittings and slow heat recovery. Hard Piedmont-area water scales the boilers and lines. We descale and change the inline filter so the failure does not return fast.
