Most of our Richmond Schaerer calls come from the offices and food spots around Hilltop and the Marina Bay waterfront, plus the cafes off Macdonald Avenue in the 94804 and 94801 stretch. These are working machines that pour all day, so a dead Coffee Soul or Coffee Prime in the morning means a line of unhappy customers and lost sales.

Richmond sits about a 35 minute drive from our San Ramon shop up I-80, longer in commute traffic. Hard water off the local supply is the main villain here, so we check scale and filtration on every boiler job.

What we repair on the bench.

Brew unit rebuild. Schaerer brew units jam and leak after thousands of cycles. We pull, clean, reseal, and swap worn parts so the puck ejects clean and pressure holds.
Boiler descale and water filter. Richmond water lays down scale fast. We descale the boiler, check the steam and water valves, and set you up on a filter so it does not come right back.
Milk system valves and tubing. Best Foam milk faults usually trace to clogged valves or cracked tubing. We rebuild the milk circuit so foam comes back consistent and the lines run clean.
Grinder service. Worn or stalled grinders throw off dose and grind. We clean, adjust, and replace burrs and motors so the machine pulls a proper shot again.
