Piedmont is mostly residential, but the Piedmont Avenue commercial strip just over the Oakland line carries the cafes and small businesses, and plenty of offices in 94611 and 94610 keep a Schaerer Coffee Club or Coffee Prime running. The 94620 PO crowd and the avenue shops all need the same thing, a machine that pours every morning.

From San Ramon we are about 35 to 45 minutes out over 24, so Piedmont is a routine run for us. We work on Schaerer as an independent shop and put a written quote in your hands before any work.

What we repair on the bench.

Brew unit cleaning and seal replacement. The brew unit packs up with grounds and stalls. We pull it, clean the chamber, and replace the seals so the cycle finishes clean.
Best Foam milk valve and tubing service. Milk dries in the valves on machines that sit between orders, which is common on the avenue. We clear the Best Foam circuit and swap any cracked tubing.
Boiler descaling and water filter setup. Scale from the plumbed line cuts boiler temperature and steam. We descale and fit a water filter so the machine holds heat longer between services.
Steam and water valve repair. Sticking steam or water valves leak or fail to open, and steaming dies. We rebuild or replace the valve and check the pressure side.
