La Marzocco in San Pablo
La Marzocco commercial service.
A Linea Classic is simple by design, and that is why an older one is usually worth keeping. The boilers and frame last for many years. What wears are the parts around them: seals on boiler fittings, the autofill valve, relays and the control board. Each can be replaced on its own, so an aging machine rarely has to be written off over one failure.
We are an authorized La Marzocco service company and order parts through La Marzocco's authorized distributors, including parts for older Lineas. The city's water comes from EBMUD and is soft to moderate. We pick up from San Pablo Avenue near Church Lane, Rumrill Boulevard, San Pablo East and the area around Contra Costa College, and send a written quote before any repair.

Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Boiler fittings weeping on an older Linea. Heat cycles harden the seals on boiler fittings until a slow weep leaves mineral trails and damp insulation. We replace the seals, check the fittings for corrosion, and pressure test the boiler on the bench.
- Autofill valve that keeps filling. If the steam boiler overfills or the pump keeps running, the autofill valve may be stuck open or the level probe may be misreading. We test both, clean or replace the part that failed, and watch the fill cycle until it stops at the right level.
- Relay or control board failures. A group that will not start, a pump that never runs, or a heater that will not switch can trace to a relay or the control board. We test the outputs at the board before replacing it, since a single relay or connector is often the real fault.

FAQ
La Marzocco in San Pablo questions, answered.
-
Is a 15-year-old Linea Classic worth repairing?
Usually, yes. The boilers and frame on a Linea Classic outlast most of the parts bolted to them, and those parts are still available. The written quote shows the repair total so you can compare it with a new machine, and we tell you plainly if a boiler itself is the problem. -
Can you still get parts for an older Linea?
Yes. La Marzocco parts are well supported, and as an authorized service company we order through the brand's authorized distributors. The written quote lists each part before it goes in. -
Our Linea is on San Pablo Avenue. How does pickup work?
We agree on a time outside your service hours, take the machine to our bench, and bring it back to the same counter once you approve the written quote and the work is finished. A Linea is heavy, so tell us about steps or tight doors. -
What does the La Marzocco pickup deposit cover?
$175 pickup deposit for home machines (Linea Mini, GS3); $250–$550 for commercial equipment. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. The deposit is not credited toward the repair. Repair work is quoted separately. -
How long does La Marzocco bench repair take?
Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. -
What warranty applies to La Marzocco coffee-machine repair?
6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
