We cover the Murphy Avenue cafes, the Lawrence Expressway and El Camino corridors, and the office-park espresso bars out toward 94085 and 94087. Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Brew group gaskets and shower screens. Worn group gaskets on a Linea or GB5 cause channeling and a poor seal at the portafilter. We replace gaskets and shower screens and reset the group so shots pull clean again.
- Brew and steam solenoid valves. A solenoid that sticks leaves you with a dripping group or a steam wand that won't shut off. We test and swap the brew and steam solenoids and clear scale out of the valve seats.
- Boiler descaling and heating element. Sunnyvale water lays down scale in the steam and hot-water boilers and around the element. We descale, check the SSR and level probe, and replace a burned-out element when it stops holding temperature.
- Gicleur and restrictor clogs. Scale narrows the gicleur and restrictor and your group temperature drifts. We pull and clear the restrictors and verify the PID is holding steady across the groups.
