What we repair on the bench.
- Boiler descaling and heating element. Concord hardness builds scale on the steam and hot-water boiler walls and the element. We descale, test the element, and replace it if it has cooked through under the deposit.
- Brew-group gaskets and shower screens. Worn group gaskets blow the portafilter seal and channel the shot. We pull the screen, replace the gasket, and check the saturated group for scale at the same time.
- Brew and steam solenoid valves. A solenoid stuck from scale leaves you with a group that won't release or a steam wand that dribbles. We clean or swap the valve and verify it seats clean.
- Gicleur and restrictor clogs. Mineral scale narrows the gicleur and throws off flow to the group. We clear the restrictor, check temperature stability through the PID, and confirm the shot comes back.
