La Marzocco in Palo Alto
La Marzocco commercial service.
Palo Alto's coffee scene runs hot. University Avenue downtown (94301), the California Avenue district (94306 edge), and the cafes serving the Stanford Research Park and office crowd in 94304 push a lot of espresso through Linea PB, GB5, and Strada machines. Tech offices and high traffic cafes do not tolerate a dead group head. We service these machines as an authorized, factory-trained La Marzocco shop, and we work to keep your downtime short.
From San Ramon it is roughly 40 to 50 minutes down 680 and across the Dumbarton or 84, traffic dependent. We cover the boiler, element, and electrical side under CSLB #1136642. Peninsula water and heavy daily volume drive scale fast in these machines, so we look at descaling and filtration alongside whatever brought us out.

Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Strada and PB brew group service. High volume University Avenue cafes run the groups hard. We replace gaskets and shower screens on Linea PB, GB5, and Strada groups so extraction stays even shot after shot.
- Brew and steam solenoid valves. Heavy daily use and scale foul the brew and steam solenoids. We rebuild or replace the valves so groups cut clean and steam comes on full.
- SSR and level probe. When heat recovery lags during a busy stretch, the SSR or level probe is often the cause. We test both and replace the failed part to keep the boiler holding through a rush.
- Rotary pump and motor. Soft brew pressure or pump noise on a plumbed machine points to the rotary pump and motor. We pressure test, set the pressure, and replace the pump when it is worn.
