Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Brew group gaskets and shower screens. Main Street volume wears group gaskets and clogs screens. We replace both on Linea PB and GB5 groups so shots pull even and the puck seals clean.
- Gicleur and restrictor descaling. Tri Valley scale narrows the gicleur and restrictors, throwing off brew temperature and flow. We clear or replace them and check the path feeding each group.
- Steam and brew solenoid valves. Scale fouls the steam and brew solenoids, leaving weak steam or dribbling groups. We rebuild or swap the valves and flush the lines behind them.
- SSR and level probe. When the boiler is slow to recover heat, the SSR or level probe is often at fault. We test both and replace the failed part to hold pressure through the rush.
