- Gicleur and restrictor descaling. Scale narrows the gicleur and restrictors, which throws off brew temperature and flow. We clear or replace the restrictors and check the path that feeds each group.
- Brew group gaskets and shower screens. Even a single machine cafe wears its group gasket and screen over time. We swap both so the portafilter seals clean and extraction stays consistent through the morning.
- Boiler descaling and heating element. Orinda hill water leaves scale on the element and in the boiler. We descale, test the element and SSR, and check the level probe so the steam boiler holds pressure.
- PID and control electronics. When temperature drifts or the display acts up, it often points to the PID or control board. We test the electronics and replace the board or probe rather than guess.
