La Marzocco in San Carlos
La Marzocco commercial service.
Laurel Street is San Carlos's restaurant row, and a good share of the espresso bars tucked behind those dinner counters are La Marzocco, mostly Linea Classic and GB5, running long weekend brunch hours that put real wear on a machine.
We cover 94070 with a technician based on the Peninsula, so a Laurel Street bar that loses pressure mid-service isn't waiting on someone driving in from Concord or Dublin. We're an authorized La Marzocco shop as of August 2026, factory-trained, and we tell customers plainly what that covers.
A restaurant row means back-to-back service almost every night, so gicleurs and gaskets wear faster than they would on a quiet counter. We keep the common parts on the van and handle boiler and electrical work under CSLB #1136642.

Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Gicleur clearing and boiler descaling. Busy Laurel Street bars scale their gicleurs down faster than a slow counter would. I always check the gicleurs first, since clearing scaled restrictors is the cheaper fix if that's all it is, before we go further into the boiler.
- PID and SSR troubleshooting. When a GB5 or Linea drifts off its setpoint during a long brunch rush, the PID or solid-state relay is usually the cause. We test both and replace whichever one is failing.
- Vibration pump rebuilds. Long dinner and brunch hours wear a vibration pump's diaphragm and valves. We rebuild or swap the pump so pressure holds through a full shift instead of sagging by the third hour.

FAQ
La Marzocco in San Carlos questions, answered.
-
Can you come out during a Saturday brunch rush?
We take weekend calls. A Laurel Street bar losing pressure at 10am on a Saturday is exactly the kind of call we plan for, and being Peninsula-based means we're not driving in from across the bay. -
Do you handle evening calls if a machine goes down during dinner service?
Yes. Laurel Street runs dinner service late, and a dead machine on a Friday night isn't a next-week problem. Call and we'll tell you honestly when we can get there. -
What does the La Marzocco pickup deposit cover?
$175 pickup deposit for home machines (Linea Mini, GS3); $250–$550 for commercial equipment. Pickup, bench diagnosis, and return are included. Repair work is quoted separately. -

What warranty applies to La Marzocco coffee-machine repair?
