What we repair on the bench.

Descaling and gicleur clogs. Hard Saratoga water scales the boiler and plugs the gicleur jets, which shows as slow heat-up and weak flow. We descale, clear the jets, and recommend filtration.
Group gaskets and screens. On a well-used village Rancilio the group gasket eventually hardens. We replace the gasket and screen so the portafilter seals and the spray runs clean.
Brew and steam solenoid valves. A sticking solenoid gives weak extraction or a steam wand that will not shut. We replace the valve and test it under real pressure.
Heating element and level sensor. No heat or a boiler that overfills points to the element or level probe. We test both and confirm the boiler cycles right before we go.
