We cover 94577, 94578, and 94579. San Leandro is about a 30 minute drive from San Ramon over 580, one of our closer East Bay routes. The plumbed water in the flats scales boilers steadily, so descaling and filtration come up on most older machines.

What we repair on the bench.

Heating element and level sensor. An early-open cafe with no heat at 6am usually has a failed element or a level probe reading wrong. We test both and get the boiler cycling before the rush.
Descaling a scaled boiler and lines. San Leandro water builds scale in the boiler and gicleur path. We descale the Rancilio, clear the jets, and set up filtration so heat-up and flow stay steady.
Brew and steam solenoid valves. A stuck solenoid gives weak extraction or a steam wand that drips. We replace the valve and test it under pressure on the bench before reinstall.
Group gaskets and screens. Spray around the basket and a portafilter that locks too easy means a worn gasket. We swap the gasket and screen so the group seals again.
