Rancilio in Pinole
Rancilio commercial service.
A Classe builds brew pressure with a rotary pump driven by an electric motor. When the pump wears, shots slow and the gauge falls short of its usual reading. When the motor struggles, it hums, runs hot or shuts itself off on its thermal protection. The two fail in different ways, and replacing the wrong one leaves the fault in place, so we test pressure at the group before we condemn anything.
If your machine pours in an Old Town storefront, at the Pinole Vista Shopping Center or along Fitzgerald Drive, we collect it cool and disconnected and bring it to our bench. We read brew pressure on a test gauge, check the motor's draw and the pump coupling, and send a written quote before any part is ordered. We work on Rancilio independently and are not factory-authorized.
$150 deposit for home Rancilio machines; $150–450 for commercial models, depending on the model. The deposit covers pickup, bench diagnosis and return and is not credited toward the repair. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. 6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Rotary pump that no longer reaches brew pressure. Worn vanes or scale inside the pump head cut its output. We measure pressure at the group, adjust the pump's bypass if it has drifted, and replace the pump head when adjustment will not bring it back.
- Motor that hums, runs hot or trips out. A motor with failing bearings or a weak start capacitor struggles to turn the pump. It may hum, get hot to the touch or cut out on its thermal protection. We check the capacitor and the bearings and replace the motor only if it is the part at fault.
- Pump coupling that slips or rattles. The coupling between motor and pump can wear or loosen, and the pump then turns unevenly under load. We replace the coupling and check the alignment so the new one lasts.

FAQ
Rancilio in Pinole questions, answered.
-
Our Classe gauge sits lower during a shot than it used to. Is it the pump?
It can be the pump, but a partly closed water supply, a clogged filter or a slipping motor coupling gives the same reading. Check that the supply valve is fully open. If the gauge still reads low, the pump needs testing on the bench. -
Can you collect a machine from a unit in the Pinole Vista Shopping Center?
Yes. Every part of 94564 is in our pickup area, including Old Town, Fitzgerald Drive and the shopping centers. Tell us about loading access and the best time to move the machine out. -
Is it worth rebuilding the pump rather than replacing it?
Sometimes. A pump head with mild scale can come back with cleaning, but worn vanes or a scored body mean a new head. The quote lays out both options where both make sense. -
What does the Rancilio pickup deposit cover?
$150 deposit for home Rancilio machines; $150–450 for commercial models, depending on the model. The deposit covers pickup, bench diagnosis and return and is not credited toward the repair. -
How long does Rancilio bench repair take?

What warranty applies to Rancilio coffee-machine repair?
6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.
