Franke in Piedmont

Franke commercial service.

Piedmont is a small, dense city wrapped inside Oakland, with its commercial pocket around the Piedmont Avenue corridor and the businesses near Grand Avenue. The Franke machines here are mostly A300 and Mytico units in cafes, small restaurants, and a few office suites, lower counts than a downtown floor but still on hard water that scales the boiler.

We run from San Ramon, about 35 to 40 minutes over the 24. The 94610, 94611, and 94620 ZIPs all fall in our regular Oakland-side route. If your Franke is leaking, scaling, or throwing milk faults, we will get a written quote to you first and credit the diagnostic toward the repair.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Boiler and flow-path descaling. Piedmont Avenue cafes on tap water scale the A300 boiler steadily. We descale the heater and flow meter and recommend an inlet filter to slow the next buildup.
Milk system valve and line service. FoamMaster valves clog on cafe machines that pull steady milk drinks. We rebuild the milk circuit, swap worn tubing, and restore the foam.
Grinder burr and dose service. Worn burrs drift the dose and the shot timing. We replace the burrs on the A300 or Mytico and recalibrate the grind and dosing.
Leak and seal repair. Leaks under the group usually trace to the brewer seals or a tired water valve. We pin the source, replace the seal or valve, and confirm a dry run.
