Touchscreen dark or frozen. A blank or frozen screen can come from the screen itself, its cable, or the supply feeding it. We measure the supply, check the connectors, and replace the screen only if it fails on its own.
Control board fault after a power event. A surge or outage can damage a board or leave it in a bad state. We check the incoming power, reset what can be reset, and replace the board if it has failed, then run the machine through its drinks.
Heat building up around the electronics. Boards and screens fail sooner when the machine cannot shed heat. If it sits in a closed cabinet or against another hot appliance, we point that out, because fixing the placement protects the new part.
