From San Ramon it's about 40 to 45 minutes to Albany via I-580 or Highway 24 to I-80, and we route Albany with our Berkeley and Richmond Inner East Bay stops. - Compact brew group rebuild. A tight Solano Avenue kitchen usually has one Franke unit doing all the work. We rebuild the brew group, replace seals and the piston, and get extraction back to even.
- FoamMaster milk system service. Small storefronts along Solano still run heavy milk drink volume in the morning window. We rebuild the FoamMaster valves and injector so foam texture holds through the rush.
- Boiler descaling in a cramped footprint. Working space behind the counter is tight in most Albany cafes, and scale builds the same regardless. We descale the boiler circuit and clean or replace the flow meter without tearing the counter apart.
- Grinder recalibration for consistent dose. Steady drink volume in a small space wears burrs at a similar pace to a bigger cafe. We replace burrs and dial dose and grind back in so the machine holds through the day.
