Millbrae is a working coffee town. The Broadway restaurant row pours espresso from open to close, and the hotels and food service operations feeding SFO traffic run superautomatics at volumes a home machine never sees. That is exactly the duty cycle Franke built the A-Line for, and it is exactly where an unserviced A400 or A600 starts dropping shots by month eighteen.

We are Franke-certified. Andrew passed Franke Coffee Systems' Technical Certification Training on the A-Line fully and semi-automatic machines, the A300 through the A1000, and the Technical Certification Exam for the McDonald's IHT units, both in June 2026 through Franke's North America center in Smyrna, Tennessee. That means factory procedures, factory test values, and no improvising on your revenue equipment.

What we repair on the bench.

Brew unit wear and seal failure on A400 and A600. High-volume sites wear the brew unit seals and the piston guides first. Symptoms are weak shots, grounds in the cup, and pressure faults during extraction. I rebuild or exchange the brew unit to Franke spec and verify extraction pressure afterward instead of just clearing the error.
FoamMaster milk system faults. The FM module's pinch valves and milk pump lose calibration when cleaning cycles get skipped during a rush. The machine then dispenses thin foam or flags milk system errors. I strip the milk path, replace fatigued valves and tubing, and rerun the calibration rather than masking it with a temperature bump.
Grinder burr wear and dose drift. On a Broadway-row volume machine the ceramic burrs drift out of spec within a year or two. Shot times wander and baristas chase the grind setting daily. I measure dose and particle behavior, replace burrs when they are actually worn, and reset the grind so recipes hold.
