Orinda is small and quiet, and most of the Miele machines here are CM-series and CVA built-ins in professional offices around the Orinda Village center and the Theatre district off Moraga Way in 94563. A few light cafes near the BART plaza run them too. This is low-to-medium duty, the spot where a Miele holds up well.

We come from San Ramon, a straight 15 to 20 minutes over the 24.

What we repair on the bench.

Descaling and water filtration. Orinda runs hard water, and scale is the number-one killer of these plumbed machines. We descale, flush the thermoblock, and set up or replace the inline filter so it does not come back fast.
Brew unit service. On a CM 6 or 7 the brew group wears at the seals and gets gummy. We pull it, clean the path, and replace gaskets so pressure builds right and grounds stop ending up in the tray.
Conical grinder burrs. Light-duty grinders still dull and jam on oily beans. We clear the chute, replace worn burrs, and reset grind so dosing is consistent again.
Control electronics. When a CVA built-in or CM unit throws a fault or the panel goes dark, we trace the board, sensors, and wiring. Some boards we source, and we quote that before ordering.
