We're an independent repair shop working on this equipment, not a Miele factory service center.
We drive out from San Ramon, 40 to 45 minutes via I-580 or Highway 24 to I-80, and we route Albany with our Berkeley and Richmond Inner East Bay days.

Common repairs we do
What we repair on the bench.
- Conical grinder burr replacement. Solano Avenue cafes that keep a steady pour wear the conical burrs down over a few months, and the shot goes thin and sour. We swap the burrs and reset grind and dose.
- Descaling and water filtration. All-day brewing scales the thermoblock fast, especially in a small shop running one machine hard. We descale and install or swap filtration so temperature holds steady.
- Brew unit overhaul. The brew unit on CM 5, 6, and 7 machines takes wear in daily cafe use. A full clean, fresh seals, and re-greasing gets it cycling and ejecting pucks smoothly again.
- Milk pipework and steam valve. Milk-heavy orders clog the pipework and wear the steam valve down. We clean the lines and service the valve so the foam comes back consistent.
