- Iced evaporators from warm-product loading and stuck timers. Loading warm product dumps moisture into the cabinet, frost builds, and if the defrost timer has stuck, the coil freezes solid within days. We thaw, replace the timer, clear the drain, and walk your crew through loading practice that keeps it from repeating.
- Fan motor bearing failure in production environments. Long duty cycles in warm prep rooms wear out condenser fan bearings, and a stalled fan will cook a compressor fast. When we hear bearing noise on a Hayward call we recommend the swap on the spot, because motor now beats compressor later every time.
- Gasket and hinge wear on high-cycle doors. Commissary reach-in doors get slammed hundreds of times per shift. Gaskets flatten, hinge cartridges sag, and the door stops self-closing, so the box runs warm and the compressor short-cycles. We replace gaskets and hinge hardware together so the fix lasts.
