DCS in Mountain View
DCS in Mountain View kitchens.
Mountain View DCS calls come out of the Old Mountain View custom kitchen remodels off Castro Street and the estate kitchens in Waverly Park. A lot of those remodels spec the DCS RGS pro all-gas range, and we see the outdoor built-in grills in the larger Waverly Park backyards.
Top-burner ignition faults and oven glow-bar igniters are the bulk of what we see on the RGS line. ZIP 94040, 94041, 94043. Drive time from San Ramon is 45 minutes via 680 and 84.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Top-burner ignition fault. Click without spark, no reignition. Traced to spark electrode, reignition module, transformer, or burner switch.
- Burner will not simmer or burns yellow. Restricted jets, misaligned burner with locating pins not seated, or wrong orifice after an LP conversion.
- Grill or griddle module burner. Weak igniter or stuck thermal valve on the GL or GD module. Igniter swap or valve replacement.
- Oven bake glow-bar igniter. Igniter glows but will not draw enough current to open the safety valve. Glow-bar swap, or dual thermal valve and convection motor on no-heat calls.
