Integrated grill module on the cooktop not igniting. The 48 inch RGS models with the indoor grill section have their own igniter and valve, and grease intrusion kills the spark path over time. I degrease the module, test the electrode, and replace the spark unit if the insulation has broken down. Most owners stopped using the grill years ago because of this, and it is a fixable problem.
Oven cycling gas on and off with a boom on relight. A soft ignition boom means the bake igniter is opening the valve late and gas pools before it lights. That is a safety issue, not a quirk. The fix is a new igniter, occasionally the safety valve too, and I test ignition timing across multiple cycles before I leave.
