La Cimbali in Lafayette

La Cimbali commercial service.

Lafayette (94549) runs its coffee through the downtown stretch on Mt. Diablo Boulevard and the shops by the BART station, where commuters hit the counter before the train. La Cimbali M26 and M39 machines here pull steady volume in tight windows, and Lamorinda water leaves scale that you feel as slow recovery between drinks.

San Ramon to Lafayette is a short run, roughly 20 to 25 minutes up 680.

$150–450 deposit depending on the model. It covers pickup, bench diagnosis and return, and is not credited toward the repair. Bench diagnosis can take up to one week; most repairs take 3–4 weeks. Same-day pickup may be available, but same-day repair is not offered. 6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables.

Common repairs we do

What we repair on the bench.

Boiler descaling and recovery. Slow steam recovery during the commuter rush is almost always scale on the boiler and element. We descale and recommend filtration so the M-series keeps up.
TurboSteam auto wand. When TurboSteam stops hitting target milk temp, it is the valve or probe. We rebuild it so baristas are not babysitting the wand at peak.
Brew-group solenoid and gaskets. Leaking or under-extracting groups on an M26 trace to worn solenoids and gaskets. We replace them and reset extraction time.
Control board and touch display. Dead buttons or a frozen display on the M39 panel. We diagnose the board versus the display and replace the failed part.
