Turbo Air in Rodeo
Turbo Air commercial service.
Rodeo sits on the eastern shore of San Pablo Bay, with Crockett and Port Costa close by, and we take calls in all three. A Turbo Air reach-in or bottle cooler here might work in a small shop or in the garage of a Bayo Vista house built in the 1950s or 60s. Either way, after years without maintenance the door gasket is one of the first parts to go.
A worn gasket lets warm air in on every cycle. The compressor runs longer, the power bill climbs and frost builds on the coil. It is one of the cheapest repairs on the unit and it protects the most expensive part. We replace the gasket, check the hinges and door alignment, and clean the condenser while the unit is open.
Our technician for this stretch of the shoreline is based in Benicia. Nothing is replaced until you approve the written quote, and the $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair. ADRIUM holds EPA 608 Universal certification if refrigerant work is needed.
Common repairs we handle.
- Door gasket torn or flattened. A gasket that has torn at a corner or flattened along the hinge side no longer grips the frame. Cold leaks out, warm air leaks in and frost gathers near the door. We fit the correct gasket profile and check the seal with the door closed.
- Door sagging on worn hinges. A door that drops a fraction on its hinges seals at the top and gaps at the bottom, so a new gasket alone will not hold. We replace or adjust the hinge, square the door and then check the gasket along its full length.
- Frost on the coil from a leaking door. Moist air that slips past a bad seal freezes on the evaporator. The frost insulates the coil, airflow drops and the cabinet warms even with the compressor running. We clear the frost, fix the seal and run a defrost to confirm the coil stays clean.

FAQ
Turbo Air in Rodeo questions, answered.
-
How can we tell if the gasket on our Turbo Air is bad?
Close the door on a strip of paper at several points around the frame. If it slides out easily anywhere, the seal is weak there. Tears, flattened sections and frost near the door edge are other signs. -
Why did our power bill go up with the same Turbo Air running?
A unit that leaks cold runs longer to keep up. Worn gaskets, a dirty condenser coil and a door that does not close all raise run time and power use. We check all three, and the gasket is usually the cheapest to fix. -
Do you take Turbo Air calls in Crockett and Port Costa?
Yes. Crockett and Port Costa are part of the area we cover with Rodeo, with the same on-site diagnosis, the same $99 diagnostic credited toward the repair and a written quote before any work.
