Turbo Air in Cupertino
Turbo Air commercial service.
Cupertino refrigeration skews toward display. The boba shops, dessert cafes, and Asian bakeries along Stevens Creek Boulevard and in the Main Street development lean hard on glass-door merchandisers, and Turbo Air TGM units are everywhere in them because a new store can put three in for the price of two True cases. Milk, toppings, and cakes in a warm display are money melting in front of customers.
So Cupertino Turbo Air calls carry same-day priority through Bay Area Refrigeration Service, our commercial refrigeration division. I also see plenty of TSR reach-ins and MST prep tables in the full-service kitchens near the tech campuses. I am EPA Section 608 Universal certified for the R-290 refrigerant these newer cabinets use, licensed under CSLB #1136642.
The $75 diagnostic is waived with repair, every quote is written, repairs carry a 1-year warranty, and the phone is answered 7 days.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Condenser fan motors clogged with tapioca-shop humidity and dust. Small dessert shops run merchandisers in tight front-of-house spots where the condenser inhales floor dust all day. The fan motor loads up, slows, and the case creeps from 38 to 48 by afternoon. Motor replacement plus a coil cleaning is the standard fix, and I set clearance so it lasts.
- Sliding and swing door gaskets on TGM display cases. Customer-facing doors get pulled by hundreds of hands a day, and once the magnetic gasket loses grip the glass sweats and the evaporator ices. I replace with the exact Turbo Air profile and adjust the door so it self-closes the way it did new.
- Temperature sensor faults hiding real warm-ups. A drifted Dixell probe shows a comfortable number while dairy in the case sits warm, and with milk-based drinks that is a health risk, not just a spoilage cost. I verify with a calibrated probe, replace the sensor, and confirm the display matches reality before signing off.

FAQ
Turbo Air in Cupertino questions, answered.
-
How long is the trip from San Ramon to Cupertino?
Roughly 45 minutes down I-680 through Fremont, longer at commute peaks. We batch Cupertino with Sunnyvale, San Jose, Los Altos, and Mountain View calls, so afternoon slots on that loop are common. A warm display case gets bumped to the same day. -
Our shop only has one case. Can you keep product alive during the repair?
Most fan, gasket, and sensor repairs finish in one visit, and I tell you up front whether product needs to move to ice or a neighbor's box. If a part must be ordered, I aim to leave the case limping safely rather than dead. -
Do you charge extra for weekend calls?
We run 7 days as normal business, and the written quote you approve is the price. The $75 diagnostic is waived when the repair goes ahead.
