What we close on the truck.
- Condenser fan motor burnout in built-in installs. Blackhawk entertaining kitchens tuck merchandisers into cabinetry that was designed for looks, not airflow. The condenser fan runs hot, the windings fail early, and the unit shuts down on pressure. I fit the replacement motor and correct the venting so the failure does not repeat next summer.
- Glass-door gasket and hinge wear. A TGM merchandiser used as a beverage wall gets heavy door traffic every weekend. Worn gaskets and sagging hinges let the door hang slightly open, the coil ices, and cooling fades. I replace the gasket, re-shim the hinges, and check door closure with a dollar-bill drag test.
- Controller probe faults after power events. Hillside power blips are common up here, and Dixell controllers sometimes come back with corrupted setpoints or a flaky probe reading. I verify the actual cabinet temperature, reprogram the controller to factory spec, and replace the sensor if the resistance curve is off.
