Mix sensor and control board faults. High-traffic counters get their buttons and levers used hard all shift, and that is where I see false low-mix alarms and dead panels first. I test the sensor and the board before replacing either one.
Beater motor and gearbox wear. A barrel that grinds, slows down, or will not turn under a full hopper usually means the gearbox or beater motor is on its way out. I replace the worn component so the machine holds up under daily volume again.
Barrel seal and gasket leaks. Mix weeping out around the shaft or dripping at the front of the barrel points to worn seals and gaskets. I replace them so the unit holds pressure instead of losing product.
