  • Hopper refrigeration failure spoiling mix. The hopper on a soft serve unit keeps mix at safe temperature between servings. When hopper cooling dies, mix spoils quietly while the cylinder still freezes fine, and that is a health inspection problem before it is a mechanical one. I check hopper temps on every visit and repair the hopper circuit with the same care as the main system.
