Before condemning the board I check it against the wiring and the group solenoid, since a loose connection can mimic a bad board.
Autofill probe and filtration fouling. A machine that refills constantly through the day pushes more water through the autofill probe and inline filter than a normal cafe schedule sees. When the probe fouls, the boiler either overfills or shuts down on a false low-water fault. We clean or replace the probe and check the filtration cartridge while we're in there.
