What we repair on the bench.

Brew and steam solenoid valves. A solenoid that hangs open leaves the group dripping or the steam wand weak. We test the coils and rebuild or swap the valve on Aurelia and Appia II groups.
Group gaskets and screens. Worn group gaskets blow the portafilter seal and channel the shot. We replace gaskets and dispersion screens and dial the group back in.
Heating element and level sensor. No heat or an erratic water level usually traces to the element or the level probe scaled over. Concord is on hard water, so we descale and check the probe while we are in there.
Pump and motor. Low pressure or a loud rattling pump kills extraction. We test the rotary pump and motor, set the brew pressure, and replace what is failing.
