- Bowl gasket leaking down the front. A bowl gasket that has flattened or split lets product weep down the front and into the base. Left alone, it reaches the bearings and grows bacteria. We replace the gasket and seal kit and clean the drive path while the machine is open.
- Cold plate not holding product cold. If the bowl feels cool but the product warms, the cold plate or the evaporator is not pulling enough heat. We check the condenser and fan first, then the refrigerant charge and the cold plate itself, and trace the fault before quoting.

Not always. On a Crathco, a humming motor with a still agitator often means the magnetic coupling has worn and is slipping. The motor may be fine. We check the coupling and the magnet before pricing a new motor. -
How long can we keep running the dispenser with a small drip at the faucet?
Not long. A drip at the faucet or the bowl gasket lets sugar into places it should not reach, and dried syrup there wears seals faster and breeds bacteria. Put a tray under it, keep it clean and book the repair. -
